My favorite purchase is the Front Range Harness, which stands up to heavy use and can be leashed from both the front and back. The harness is padded and has fabric that sits between the clips and the dog’s body, which adds comfort and reduces the likelihood that you’ll accidentally clip their fur.

I’ve gifted the Treat Trader Pouch, which comes with a clip for your waistband or a belt that you can buckle around your waist. The pouch uses water-resistant fabric and has a convenient magnetic closure.

Cheaper leashes tend to come with bad clips, which are often hard to use or prone to breakage. I’d recommend Ruffwear leashes that have the Talon clip; this clasp is really ergonomic and sturdy and can be attached quickly. The newer Crux clip used on some leashes has less bulk but isn’t as durable. I personally have the Roamer Bungee Leash.
